Waiting for surgery date

Hi,

I will probably have surgery mid July - just waiting for actual date.  I am having the sleeve.  We have planned on going to Washington DC for vacation the week of August 7th.  Do you think I would be OK for the drive from Indiana to DC and a week of "tourism"?  My other option would be to postpone the date to after vacation, but I kind of hate to do that.

I would think you would get tired easily,  and if its a long car ride you will have to get out and walk once in a while.  But i was feeling pretty good around 3 weeks out,  good luck  :o) jeani
