Hi there everyone!

Just popping in from Louisisna to say hello. I have been lurking here for about 3 minutes...just long enough to see what a great group this seems to be. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and offering support in this journey.

Just a note about where I am in the process...I was finishing my insurance paperwork after completing the 3 month nutritionist/pre op checklist, when my insurance company changed theor preop guidelines to 6 months of nutritional counseling. I was devastated (because I was SO close...I was filing the NEXT DAY!!) but I kept on...and I am almost done with the 6 month process. I have one more appointment in July, and then they submit me! :)

Is anyone from Louisiana? New Orleans? I am planning my surgery with Louisiana Surgical Specialists, Dr. French.

I will start a ticker and update my profile a bit more as time goes by, but for now I just wanted to say hello! :)

Yes, welcome to the best WLS site. People here are pretty darn supportive and you can and will learn all and more about everything you need and want to know.
