Sleeve June 17th and Home!!!

Just wanted to let you all know that I had my surgery yesterday. It was a great experience. When I got in the pre-op they hurried and did everything with in a half hour and my surgery was an hour before it was originally scheduled.  I had scar tissue from lapband so my surgery took a little bit longer...50 minutes to do my surgery.  As soon as I got up to my room I buzzed the nurse and told her I wanted to walk. I did two laps with the nurse and I did fine. I then went and did 10 more on my own. I have had to problems drinking anything.  The doctor told me I could start full liquids but I have decided I will wait another 2 days. I don't want to rush anything. Have no nasuea and very little pain. I told him I don't do pain pills so he told me to take liquid tylenol instead. Bad part is I am up 10 pounds becaue of all fluids they pumped me with. It is okay it will go away. I am up to 50 oz of clear liquids already and one protein shake 17 protein. Hubby went to go get me the clear Isopure for the next couple of days. I am happy to be home!!  Congrats !!!  It sounds as If your doing amazing =) I needed to hear a story like your because I am getting VERY nervous about my up coming surgery. Keep up the great work!

 Wow - you rock, girl!    Way to go - Glad everything is going so well for you.  Don't overdo it, though - you need rest, too.
