I had surgery 7/12. I have lost 1 pound in the last week!!! How is that even possible?? My calories are about 400-600. Low carbs. I get at least 60 grams of protien and usually 48-64 fluids a day!! I workout everyday and am slowly increasing the intensity!!!

Ahhhhhhhhh!!

It is just part of the process.  Your body takes time to readjust to changes now and then.  No one likes it, but it happens periodically and you just need to learn to accept it.  Keep following your program and the weight will come off.  Put the scale away for awhile (nearly impossible for some to do).  Hang in there...I promise it will get better soon!

My  surgery was on the 12th also, I lost 20lbs in the first 8 days and was so shocked but then it has stopped and I have not lost a pund since 9 days out. I am not to worried right now because I thought 20 was alot to lose. I guess we just have to hang in there and keep to our diet.

Hey there!  I had surgery the 13th.  I lost 10 lbs in 8 days and haven't budged since.  Up a couple ounces down a couple ounces.  It is frustrating but since I'm still on liquids I know I can't be doing anything wrong.  I was preparing for this but as much as it sucks I know my body just went through alot and is still recuperating.  Just know you arent alone. I'm trying to just focus on doing what I'm supposed to be doing and not be stressed, even though its hard. lol

I am in the same boat too.  Had surgery on the 13th, lost 18 1/2 lbs the first 10 days and nothing the last 5 days.  So this has got to be a normal occurance- frustrating has all get out tho!!   Just keep doing what you are doing!  Cathi

Your body is adjusting. Please measure your body. I am so sure you are losing
inches.  This will happen every month to you.   Losing weight with the sleeve
takes about a year and is a slow consistent process.

Try and read and express about it so your head gets in the right place. In other
words have the understanding and prepare your mind for these stalls.

I go through this every month and for me it helps to understand.
you are doing well.  stick to your plan.   walk sip and rest is your goal for now.

I am glad I am not the only one! Thanks DrHollywood for the encouragement. I talked to my NUT and she said it was totally normal too. She said that since I am working out, my muscles are retaining water. Plus, it's REALLY hot here so everyone is retaining even more fluids. She said they would do my measurements when I return in two weeks and then again a month after that. I can tell my clothes are loser already.

Leslie :)

RELAX --- and get used to periodic "time outs" of weight loss. sometimes it's a week -- a pause in your weight loss -- time that your body needs to catch up. sometimes it's a few weeks -- a stall -- where your body is losing inches and not pounds...another way that our bodies adjust to this fast and furious weight loss.

Just do what you are supposed to do, and it WILL power through.
