No........... I am not joking about the loofah. I really did read that. I am not suggesting anything other than I read it. I believe diet and exercise produces weight loss.........period. Thanks for entertaining my humor!

I have heard our skin a our largest organ and absorbs all sorts of stuff via lotions, shampoos,
water, etc but I never hear fat from lotion. Interesting that this was actually discussed.

Sounds like a bunch of nonsense. Plus fat molecules are large it would never make it through the skin. Holy crapola the junk people say. I would love for you to ask her to provide some kind of proof for that statement. Bet she can't.

My husband looked it up, because he thought the same. There is no real scientific data that shows the correlation.

What a big ol' bunch of **** someone is spreading!!

The only way I know of to transmit (?) anything through skin is by applying it with DMSO. Of course I'm no doctor, I only play one here. ;-)

This garbage has to be right up there with tobacco will kill worms in animals and a dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's.....

Let's hear some other old (new) wives' tales shall we?

Wow. I am kind of embarassed for her. I use baby oil because I love the smell though! My mother-in-law believes you can't turn a baby upside down when it is under a year old because "its liver will flip over." So for years when one of the kids was upside down we had to scream "your liver, your liver!"
