Month 5

Hey VSG family,

All is well out here in sleeveland.

I updated my blog and added a few new pictures. Copy and paste does not work for me (if anyone can help I would appreciate it). I am down 60 pounds from surgery day and 74 from my consultation date. It was 11/17/10 when I went to the orientation and learned more about WLS. I joined this site that same week and started reading obsessively about surgery. At first I wanted the LB. Then my PCP tried to steer me towards the RNY, but after I learned about the sleeve I knew it was for me.

I am happy with my size right now, but I do want to lose more. It looks like I will be in a much smaller size than I ever expected. So far I love my sleeve!.

I'm so happy to see your post.  I'm having surgery on Monday.  It doesn't seem real.  I started my journey 2 years ago. 

Time flies once you get it done. Take pictures and measurements along the way!. You lose so fast that the mind can't keep up with it. I still don't realize how much I have lost until I go through pictures.

Congrats on your weight loss. Looks like we are sleeve siblings as I was sleeved the same day as you. Looks like we have had succesful journeys so far although i have a longer ways to go than you yet. May we both have succesful weight loss journeys together.
