Question?????
I've heard several folks on these forums talk about the magic bullet (?) but we have a ninja food processor that I dearly love. For my protein shakes though, I just picked up a little Oster blender at Target for about $20. It blends basically one shake at a time, and it's made to drink straight from the blender jar. Very easy to use and clean. I haven't had my surgery yet; just been doing protein shakes now for a few days so my little Oster blender is all I've needed so far.

I purchased a Cuisanart Immersion Blender on Amazon....LOVE IT! Used it to puree everything from beef stew to chili to chunky soups right after surgery...it was great! I think I paid $29. And, for my shakes, I use the Cooks brand of Magic Bullet...certainly does a great job but I've been using it a bit over a year now and I'm thinking it's time for a new one.

Honestly, I have the bullet from years ago and I used it, maybe 6 times... I'm not super creative though.
I ate mostly stuff that was already in good shape, like tuna, cottage cheese, eggs...
In the VERY early days I did toss some cream soup in a bleander, but I felt silly... just chewed it, but my doc was okay with that when it came to cream soup... I only blended because of what I read on here :-)
I think some of the best advice I got was don't overbuy... I am a nester, so that was tough for me, but I tried hard to listen... I still have some broth and a soup or 2 kicking around, but I was a good girl. I was sleeved 5 months ago.
