So Cal Sleevers or anyone interested in 5k/Half Marathons?

I am homesick too, but not for SCV!  I'm from Chicago, but your new digs sound like a slice of heaven!

Yes, I do like living here.  Although our winters go from about beginning of October until April.  It's beautiful this week in the 60s.

Only thing I truly miss about CA is my family who are now up north (Sacramento and Placerville).  But Cheyenne is nice - we're about 50 miles from Fort Collins, CO which has anything we could want that Cheyenne doesn't, and Denver is only 100 miles south. 

Never been to Chicago but maybe someday!

I am doing a 5k mud run at the end of this month. Looks like I am further south, but at least we could post training encouragement. I am doing the couch to 5k program, I'm in week two.

I have a friend who has been suggesting that program for me, but unfortunately (or fortunately) running is not a good form of exercise for me.
