I've been sleeved!

Surgery was yesterday and went well. I was supposed to go home today, but I haven't quite figured out how to sip properly and run the risk of getting dehydrated if I unhook my IV and go home.

This whole thing feels surreal to me right now. I know I had surgery, and I see the insitions on my tummy, but it still doesn't seem like 90% of my stomach has actually been removed. Ist hat weird??

Congratulations! And, no, that is not weird. If it weren't for my visible incisions, I wouldn't have believed I'd had a big chunk of my stomach removed either.
