I eat 5 small meals or times a day during the week when I'm working but my days are long I'm up at 3 am and eat at 5 am then at 9 then 11:30 then 3 then 6 and on weekends usually only twice a day. I eat anything and everything try and keep my calories at 1200 I weigh daily and only allow a three pound leeway if I go over that it is back to strict basics so far so good best wishes to you

My sleeve is tight, but I've never been able to do three meals a day. I can only eat less than 2 oz a meal and a protein shake fills me up.

During loss I did 3 meals and two protein shakes and averaged 600 - 800 calories. In maintenance I now eat 6 times a day (2 of which are shakes) and am getting in around 1300 calories. I may need to up that a little more.

Other than the extra feeding, I added calories by doing my shakes with milk instead of water and making that sixth feed nuts or nut butters (which are good for you, but being high in good fats are also high in calories). I eat one serving as defined on the packaging, usually an ounce of nuts or 2 T of nut butter.

It's not like a light switch ........
A gentle blend into Maintanance by adding 100 calories at a time to what your currently doing for WL....

Get your weight to stableize for a couple of months.... Than start getting experimental within changing it up whitin your numbers.

Most find that Maintanance is about 80% of WL

Isn't that the truth. I'm so glad I took the time to learn to eat right (not just small) during the journey. Now I'm just tweaking things to introduce more calories without adding more volume of food.

That sounds soooo correct !!!

Think of it like learning how to ride a bicycle......

When you reach Maintanance you don't take the training wheels of right away.......

I'm not lucky enough yet to be 10 pounds from goal but I dont think it hurts to start hearing about how all the successful sleevers got to goal and stayed there.  Thank you for continuing to post on this board!
