Weird stress reaction - no hunger

I often mention here that I've had my hunger since about day 3 postop.  Even when I eat dense protein, I get hungry every 3-4 hours.

I've been insanely stressed due to work lately, and my hunger went away yesterday!  I wasn't hungry at all yesterday, and had to make myself eat this morning.  It is so weird to not be hungry...  I don't know if I like it, but I'm sure it won't last long!

I don't know if I can translate this to words......

Last weekend my 17yo god son was in his 2nd. race of the season in the Italian Motorcycle Championship.(600cc Grand Prix Motorcycles capable of 180mph)

I was out on the town and had it all planned out to get back in time to watch the live feed on the Internet. The race was to start at 230AM San Fran time...... I got back in time and got settled in.....made some food (don't freak out....I eat my last meal this late all the time).

I was eating while trying different things to get this live feed going. I was all jacked up and stressed out cause I knew the race had started.

Well, some web guy in Pasta Land didn't flip the switch for the live feed till lap 3 of a 10 lap race.

When it came on my god son was in 3rd. place in "Heavy Rain" racing with 1st and 2nd. in a field of 40

My tiny tummy just seized up with only about an ounce of food in it.....I believed it actually tightened up, cramped, contracted or shot a load of stomach acid or something! I'm gonna run it past the good Doctor to get the explanation......

Good thing I was laying down or I would had to lay down....... I felt very sick.....

And it got worse....the race was hair ball and guys were falling right and left.....he fell on the last lap going 120mph passing the 2nd. place guy.... he got up right away so I knew he was fine, but my heart broke for him....he was the fastest and goin for the win.....

Probably not across the board, but probably safe to say stress has an effect and in my case or our case it can reduce hunger and for myself pre-op....I was a stress eater......

Before the sleeve, I also ate when stressed.  A few times, when the stress was incredibly bad, I would lose my appetite and wouldn't be able to eat.  However, once that phase passed, my appetite would come back strong and I'd shift into major overeating mode.  My guess is that the same type of reaction will happen to me with the sleeve.  Just hoping I recognize the signs and take care not to switch into the overeating mode!

Before the sleeve, when stressed, I'd forget to eat during the day, then it way too much at night.  So far, that hasn't happened with the sleeve- I haven't done any stress eating yet :)

Well, I'm still under a great deal of stress, which won't be going away for several weeks...  Or months.

The cool thing is that I am rarely hungry now, and can't eat much.  I haven't been getting to the gym (which makes me sad), but am continuing to lose weight...  I have 16.5 more lbs to the bottom end of my weight range...  If I continue to lose and have a hard time eating, I'll probably start doing shakes...

I cannot wait for things to get back to normal!
