Itchy incisions

OMG!!! My incisions are itchy!!! Help! I've used a cold towel and Benadryl but nothing is working. Any suggestions?

No suggestions unfortunately, but wanted to say that you are not alone. I thought I was going to rip thru my skin because mine itched so bad. Then, after a few days, it got better. They didnt stop itching totally until almost a month out, but it wasnt nearly as bad as it was in the beginning.

I had the same problem, it was the worst! Benadryl helped a tiny bit, I think I was allergic to the glue, when it finally came off, the itching stopped. Good luck!

I was itching pretty bad at 3 weeks out. I found out I am allergic to the internal stitches they used inside of me. I was actually developing hives around my incisions.
Long story short benadryl works! I have to wait till the stitches are fully absorbed to get rid of the occasional itches I experiene now.
