how many calories should I be getting
Darn---if you're able to get in all that protein and meet your fluid minimum---that's great. Lots of folks struggle with that the first few weeks. I assume all that protein is coming from shakes?
I would check with your NUT/surgeon about how many cals you should have.
However, usually, they say not to worry too much about cals this early out. Many programs keep you at 600-800 cals throughout the losing phase. So 600 would be acceptable if you were following that program, obviously. In fact, seems a little high for 8 days but if you're using RTDs it's understandable to me.
I would stay the course.

I feel like bowing to you, I am no where near getting in my protien. I had my husband go out and get me atkins shakes tonight so that I can supplement starting tomorrow. Now after reading the label I will need 4 of them to get enough protien as I can only eat a couple of teaspoons of anything right now, and when I do, I am not getting my fluids in!
Good for you! I am also only getting about 300-500 calories a day right now... so you are doing GREAT!
