Swimming postop

My doc's general info said no swimming or baths for 4 weeks, but at my 1 week follow up he was so happy with my incisions that he gave me the go ahead. I guess it just depends on how you heal. I don't know that I really would have had the energy for swimming in that first month though. Have a great time on your vacation!

I am so glad this post thing is here...I never even thought about the pool...of course, I am pre op...but I had planned on doing the recovery time in my back yard with the grandkids....pool included...guess I need to ask the Dr.   about that too.
