Closet shopping!

I had run out of clothes this morning and thought I would have to wear blue jeans to work.  I figured I would try on a pair of black pants that I haven't been able to wear for probably a year just to see what happened.  THEY FIT!!!!!  I of course did my happy dance! 

I couldn't wait to share this with people who would understand what a happy occasion this is.

I can't wait to do this. I actually had a bunch of my 18/20 clothes for sale online because I was up to 22/24 but I removed them because I hope to get one more wear out of them when I pass back through that size. Surgery was Monday and I'm feeling pretty good.

I'm glad you are feeling good!  I know you'll get one more good wear out of those clothes.  No doubt about it.  Those clothes will fit before you know it.

Closet shopping - one of my favorite things to do now!!! But alas, I've reached the back of the closet....waiting to one more shift in size and off to the stores I go (probably consignment though until i reach goal LOL)

 I unfortunately was really good at keeping my closet cleaned out of clothes I couldn't wear.  The lowest size I had was a few 18s and I was in those within a week of surgery.  I've been doing a LOT of craigslist and consignment store shopping.  But it's just a fabulous feeling when you look at something and go, no way that'll fit, and then it does.

I'm so glad I kept all of my smaller clothes as I got bigger over the years - with all I've lost so far I've still only had to buy a couple pair of blue jeans, 1 skirt, 2 pair of shorts, and 4-5 shirts.  I still have another box in the attic that I need to get down soon.

I have had to buy shoes, though - my feet have shrunk and quite a few pair were flopping off.  lol

I can't wait to see if my feet shrink!  I have a pair of shoes to fit into.  ;)  I so have to organize my closet now so I can figure out what I'm going to fit into next.
