My mother didn't know me
I hadn't seen my mother since a couple of days before surgery, and so I thought of seeing her reaction to the 80 lb less me. I went to the store where she works walked right up to her, when she didn't get excited, I thought she was mad at me. So I just played it off. I began to ask her about the display she was working on, and she looked at me confused. I guess it was the new hair color that had her confused. Her eyes got huge! My own mother hadn't recognized me! She was so happy we both began to cry. I love my sleeve!

That is so wonderful! I had a similar situation last month while my mom was visiting from out of town. I had lost 40 since last seeing her. We were grocery shopping and split up. When I was done I found her wandering in the parking lot, she said she searched the whole store and couldn't find me. Her face went slack and then broke into a huge smile, she realized she was looking for the chunkier me
