Protein chips?

A friend who can't have corn or wheat due to allergies came up with a crunchy snack that we enjoy. Slice zucchini on a mandolin slicer, not to thin, but you don't want them super thick either. Place them on a food dehydrator (also handy for making homemade jerky), sprinkle with seasoning of your choice and dry them out. Be sure to place them into an air tight container for storage as soon as they come out of the dehydrator. Low calorie. crunchy, and yummy. Do watch the amount because of carbs. A bonus, this is real food, not refined junk.

If you take 1 slice of kraft deluxe american cheese cut into 16 squares (has to be that brand not individual wrapped)
put them in an oval shape (important) on parchment paper
microwave for 60 seconds

you have 70 calories 0 carb mini bowl of crunchy "chips"
