Hey!

I got home from the hospital yesterday and I'm feeling pretty Damn good!! Everytime I read (pre-op) someone complain about protein powder I thought, "I don't understand, they all taste fine to me"... Now that I'm home, I've tried 2 bands, Unjury and Jay Rob. They are physically making me sick. I am sure its becaue I'm so new to this, but everytime I drink something thicker than crystal light, I get a heavy feeling in my chest. Yogurt seems to go down pretty ok. What do you do besides protein drinks??? But, so, I really feel great, walking is definitely the key to getting right back on your feet.

I found that Isopure is pretty good for me.  Some people say that it has a "slimy" texture going down, but I tend to like it.  It is the same consistency of a crystal light.  The only thing is that they are a bit on the expensive side, so I alternate shakes and Isopure.

I don't know about your diet but when I come home from surgery I have to be on clear liquids for 2 weeks. Might wanna check with your NUT.

Thanks, when I tried Isopure before surgery, I burped it up for hours.. but thank you.

I am not on clear liquids. I'm allowed yogurt and riccota cheese.. I guess I have a liberal nutritionsit.

It will get easier as you get further out. For now try clear protein like isopure, or order the syntax nectars like fuzzy peach or lemonade, I think you can order a sample pack. Look it up on netrition or somewhere online. Good luck.
