hard to believe it's only been 11 months since my surgery.  sometimes it feels like years!  i think i'm doing quite well and have started celebrating the small victories and have stopped beating myself up for not being further along in my journey.  Here are some things I"ve learned about myself:

Best things: I have more confidence and found out I am pretty cute!  I still have great restriction! My labs are stellar!
Worst things: (TMI) constipation issues are long term for me and a daily dose of Miralax is a definite.  Thinking every little twinge or pain I have may be related to the surgery (yes, going to a counselor for anxiety and dealing with this too)

My stats: Highest weight ever 287.  Started at 280 on 9/1/11 pre op diet (3 week liquid).  Surgery on 9/29/11 at 264.  Currently 167 and still losing 2-4 pounds per month.   Went from a size 24/26 to a size 12/14

For those who are interested in inches:
Neck: 16.5 to 14 (-2.5)
Hips: 54 to 42 (-12)
Thigh: 33 to 23 (-10)
Calf 21 to 16 (-5)
Waist: 42 to 34 (-8)

Such an amazing journey and so proud of myself for going through with all of it.
