Pre-op? Whats your VSG date?

Oct. 11 is my VSG date....whats yours? I'm excited and nervous....how about you?

Oct 3rd is mine. I am excited, nervous, hopeful, frightened, a bunch of emotions. This is all normal I hear. I will be thinking of you. Let us know how you do and I will do the same. We will do fine.

 Mine is sept 20th. Im a little nervous, but overall mostly anxious and excited to get this journey started. The pre op diet has been definitly hard for me and has tested so many boundries, I have been strong but have relented twice to temptation. I accepted it and moved on. I am now carb free and hunger free, and doing alright. I just wish i could fast forward a month or 2 and have the worst parts behind me already. Good luck!

Hey good luck to you as well...I'm like you wishing I had 2 months behind me....cant wait to get to Onederland....havent been there since high school almost 25 yrs ago....Geesh!

October 15th is my tentative date! I am also excited and nervous because I haven't had major surgery before. I just want to stop feeling tired and having pain in my feet. It's been really bad now more than ever! I wish you well!

Good luck to you Jodi..I know your pain...cauese my knees hurt me like crazy.....it seems we are neighbors....im in P-burg, NJ just over the bridge...I go to Lehigh Valley Mall a lot...probably seen you in passing...whose doing your surgery?

Ah cool! I live right down past the mall. Dr. Rovito is my surgeon and he's doing it at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest! How about you? Where are you having it done? I have lived here about 6 years. I am originally from Staten Island, NY so PA is quite a culture shock but I've learned to love it :)
My pain is in the heels of my feet. I live in flip flops and flat shoes which is very bad. I need to get some insoles just a matter of what type.

OCTOBER 25!!! I am nervous,excited, kind of dread it, worried i'll fail...etc etc. Keep reading boards..if it wasnt for the encouragement i may have backed out

 December 19 for me!!! There is a part of me that wishes I was closer, but another part that is happy it is still a ways away. This way I can really make sure my head is in the game and I am really ready for this. December works best for my work schedule, hence the delay.
