This may be a silly question but...

My plan says " Consume 4 oz. of liquid per hour. (one ounce every 15 minutes or as tolerated)

If I can drink water comfortably using small sips, is it necessary to limit myself to 4 oz per hour?

Thanks,
Val

Nope, those are the minimums to get through your daily requirement.

I feel it if I have pushed it a bit too much on the water so just slow down for a while. Getting in more water is better than less.

What SuzyNZ said.  More is better.  Minimum goal is 64 oz per day.

My instructions state the following:  In the first 30-45 days avoid drinking more than 3-4 oz in a 10 min period.  Avoid gulping more than 1 oz at a time.

It will be really hard for you to drink 64 oz if you can only get 4 oz an hour (16 hours to be exact)...
