Before and During 6-Months out

2-weeks Pre-op at 377lbs and 23 weeks Post-op at 270 lbs, 5'9")

I still don't believe it some mornings when I weigh myself that I have come this far in this amount of time. In the first 3 months I had so much anxiety about excess skin and saving up for plastics, but I am proud that I could no longer give **** less about a saggy panocha or bat wings. I actually feel YOUNGER, HAPPIER and in LESS PAIN. I have received so much love and support on FB and instagram over the past few months, so much more than my own family even offers me. I would have been clueless without Obesityhelp's forums. My GW is about 180lbs and I intend on reaching that goal and maintaing it forever. VSG was the best decision I made in my entire life. Follow my journey at the links below.

Thanks! the loss has started slowing, but I havent been challenging myself at the gym at all, so today is day 1 of a new 5 day gym week for me! PRAY FOR ME lol.

 

You look smaller than your current weight... You look great... Glad u saved the shirt... I saved one out fit post op and take pics in it to see my progress...I am the same height as you , did u pic ur goal weight or did the bariatric team?  

I picked my own goal weight, but it is differently fluid in that It may change depending on how i feel when I reach it. I definitely am saving for plastics as well. so Im playing it by ear...and panni. lol
