Hey guys just wanted to let you know that i was sleeved yesterday. Pain was fairly minimal and is still here, but only a little bit. (: I've really just been sleeping most of the time, but I've been up walking a lot too. I tried some jello last night in the hospital but it wasn't very pleasant. This morning I'm working on an ounce cottage cheese and that seems to be going down much easier. I am already over the moon with joy that I had this surgery. The staff here has been very patient and accommodating. They're also shooting for me to be out of here around noon. What a great experience! :D

I hope you do too! For the me, the key was just having a positive attitude. I had a great group of family and friends which helped a lot too.

Hey, sleeve twin, congratulations!  I am home now from my own surgery.  Couldn't have anything by mouth until this morning after I had an upper GI to check for leaks.  That upper GI was horrible, but it got the job done.  I had a bad night from pain and from being in a noisy hospital, so I'm so glad to be home.  Just got done walking and am back to sipping.  The beef broth they offered me at the hospital went down well, but I wasn't interested in the watered juice or the jello.

Isn't it great to have that behind us?!
