Finally told my family

Decided to share my news about starting the steps for VSG surgery with my family on Thanksgiving night. I was surprised by the overwhelming amount of support they showed to me.

I'm not 100% sure why I was so nervous to do it, but I'm so glad I did it.

Now...just wish the next month or two would hurry up and I could get the surgery!!!

2 more dietician visits, the psych eval, and one EGD should do the trick.

Congrats! That's fabulous! I'm not telling my family until Christmas and even then I'm debating it. I live overseas so they only see me like every 6 months. I just don't want my younger sister to know or to think this is an option for her. No idea what my parents would say. All my friends here are incredibly supportive and since they are part of my everyday so the most important piece of the pie!
