Electric Fun Run on August 3rd in Kansas City...going to start C25K program this week.

Excited, nervous, astounded at myself for even thinking of doing this.

Love my sleeve and the confidence it has given me...

Go you!  One of my goals post-surgery is to run a 5K too. :)

So so good for you.  I was scheduled to do a 5k on March 30th, put torn my planter fascia.  Maybe in a couple months I will try again.

Go for it !!! You can do it!! I did one last year. Trained using C25K and ran the whole thing in 40 minutes, slow but steady.  Just restarted the C25K program and training to up my speed this year.  Going to do the same 5K run this year and hopefully improve my times but at least 5 minutes.

Go for it! I just ran my first on April 7th! It was a fun event. I found running the event was much easier than the training runs simply due to the festive atmosphere at the 5k. I'm running in a mud run 5k on the 28th too. Enjoy!

Was due to run my 1st in Feb. I got a stomach flu. I decided it wasn't worth the risk of hospitalization for dehydration. Now I'm running my first Sat. FW zoo run. It should be fun. My husband was suppose to run with me but he fell off his horse & broke his collar bone. I guess it's just me. Good luck & good training!
