severe burn feeling
While it could be as simple as reflux I would call your surgeon and ask. They will have someone available on the weekend. At two weeks out you are still new and shouldn't hesitate to call about it. In fact, never be afraid to check something out better safe than sorry. I just talked to my surgeons office yesterday, of course it was not an emergency or something out of the ordinary but I got the answers I needed. Unfortunately I also got an appointment for a UGI and an endoscopy to stretch another stricture. I think it is my fifth. Fortunately most people don't have these problems. I just got lucky, I guess. My last one was right where my band was and he feels this one might be, too. Fortunately it is a fairly easy fix but it is frustrating.
Good luck and let us know what you find out
Definitely call your doctor's office. They'll be able to tell you what it could be.
Hope you find relief from the pain soon.

I had this issue. I tried to stand my doctor down that is wasnt normal, after he told me it was. It started 2 weeks after surgery, Hurt like hell if i moved wrong, got up wrong, sneezed, coughed. I to thought, it had nothing to do with my incisions, but come to find out it was tight ass sutures they used from one of my bigger incisions, that was pulling on my muscle and abdominal wall. It lasted for about another week and half. Then i just went to sore and now at 4 weeks it is just about gone, the burning that is. But when i am walking too much, i tend to get a slight soreness pain in that area.
