1-year anniversary of my first visit with the surgeon *with pic*

I’m about 5 and a half months post-surgery, and today marks 1 year since my first visit to the surgeon. In the past year I’ve lost 175 pound, 130 of those since the surgery in February. Had a checkup with the surgeon on Monday and everything’s fine, all my vitamin levels are within their normal limits. Mowing the lawn’s been a lot easier this year, and I’m biking straight up hills I couldn’t handle when I first got the bike. I’m so glad I made this decision.

Awesome Job! You look Fabulous! I'll be have to wait until January to have my surgery (boo!) but see such awesome progress gives me hope and keeps me motivated!
