Amusing NSV

So it's flu shot day at work and I always get one each year...

It has been a small chore because, as a guy, I always had to unbutton my dress shirt and pull my arm out to allow the nurse access to my shoulder for the shot.  Rolling up the sleeve for this never would've worked.  This all happens in public more or less so I'm basically 1/2 dressed while this happens.

So today I sit down and begin the usual ritual.  As I begin, the nurse says "let's see if we can roll up your sleeve and get access".  Now seriously, after years of that not working I had no expectation but figured I'd try anyway.  My only thought was maybe it could go high enough that she could work in the shot.

You guessed it by now, to my surprise it worked.  My arms have slimed down enough that I comfortably got my sleeve pulled up to my shoulder for the shot.  Heck, I was able to pull it up so far up there was plenty of room to spare.

Not really a major NSV, but it does amuse you when it takes you by surprise like that.

Love the NSV.  Amazing how the odd thing will really bring home the reality of one's weight loss.

That is a great NSV! I love the unexpected little ones that just sneak up on you like that. I hope your arm doesn't hurt too bad - I got my shot on Saturday and it hurt for days!
