Eating Breakfast
I'm curious about your experience. In the morning, I usually wake feeling not the slightest bit hungry....and actually averse to food. I start my day with one or two cups of hot tea. It seems I can't even think about breakfast til 9:30 or 10:00 am most days, and even then, I usually just eat because I think I should. Mind you, most days, I'm up around 5:30 or 6:00 am.
I'm curious if anyone shares this morning food aversion and what the best tact is with regard to eating. Do I go ahead and put it off as long as I like? Or is it best to begin stoking the metabolism fires in spite of my aversion?

I have never been hungry in the mornings, and I hate it when people tell me i need to eat breakfast. So when I started this diet, and was told I needed to eat three meals a day, I asked if I could eat a late breakfast, and the Nut said yes, as long as the meal were 4 to 6 hours apart. So I get up around 6AM, have coffee and vitamins, and then I eat at 10-11AM, 3pm and 7 to 8pm. This works really well for me because there is so little time between dinner and bed time. It takes care of the evening snacking problem.
I can't speak to the "stoking the metabolism" issue, but I am losing weight pretty consistently, so its working for me. I also make sure I exercise every day - at least 10 to 20 minutes - I think that "stokes the metabolism"

I get up and workout first then eat 2 eggs, and either veggies or fruit. Somtimes some carbs also. To get all my requirements in for the day I have to start early or I end up short at the end of the day. Some drink a protein drink if solid foods aren't appealing that early. I have had good results with always eating breakfast fairly early..

In the past I was always a breakfast eater and woke up hungry. Since my procedure I still eat breakfast but nit right away. Usually around 2-3 hrs after waking. But Frisco's information is very interesting to me and I would like to switch my protein shake to shortly after waking up to see what difference it makes. I can drink something early but not eat something until later.
Yeah...I struggle, though I've tried, with a protein shake even that early. But given Frisco's advice, will try to get creative to see if I can do it.
