Anyone have this? I am trying to come up with new ways to get in my protein and was thinking this may be a good option - throw in some frozen fruit and protein powder or plain greek yogurt and voila! Frozen ice cream-like substance.

I use my 1 cup food processor. I have to stop it two to three times and scrape down the sides, but it works great.

I've had two. The first one the motor burned out on the second use. I exchanged it because I liked it a lot. The second one the motor smoked and promptly died on the forth try. I exchanged it for a ninja blender.

The sales person said a lot of them had been returned for the same reason. Great concept, poor execution.

We have one.  It turns frozen fruit into a nice consistency, but is bothersome enough to clean up that my daughter doesn't pull it out much.  She blends with frozen banana and it comes out nicely.  I am allergic to banana, so I do straight strawberries and that is darn tasty.  Never tried adding protein powder to it, but hey- worth a shot.
