Almost at goal?

I'm 5 lbs from my goal of 140 lbs originally set. I will be 7 months out on November 8th. I'm still at 600 calories a day and 30 carbs. I find myself going over everyday.. Usually about 700 calories and 50 or so carbs. Is this a bad thing? I feel like maybe I'm not getting enough at 600 calories. I notice myself getting light headed very often.. Especially during my bootcamp sessions... Normally when doing burpees or getting up quickly!

My docs plan calls for his patients to eat between 600-800 during the losing stage. I cannot imagine eating 700 calories is going to sabotage you.  You've nearly reached your goal quickly. That's awesome!

Hey, as long as you are loosing & you r 5 lbs away from goal! so upping your calories by 100 cals is perfectly fine! In fact you need to eat around 70 to 80 gms carbs during maintenance pahse, which u r nearing already!!!

Congrats on your success... u r such an inspiration. I started out at 262 lbs & on Surgery date I was 242 lbs.. so my goal is pretty much similar to yours.. How I wish I was 5 lbs away from goal!!! Congrats you go girl!

You are doing great! Pay attention to your body and keep focusing on proteins and healthy fats. You shouldn't have any problem reaching your goals especially at 800 calories or less. Be careful with feeling light headed. I've fallen and have had to focus on supplementing electrolytes.

I actually passed out 3 weeks ago and went to the doctor... Found out I had an electrolyte imbalance! My blood pressure went to 90/60 when I passed out also. Everything ok now! Good luck!!

Have your blood pressure checked in three positions, laying down, than sitting, than from laying down to standing.

Keep your fluids up.....

Bottom line.... get checked out by your doctor.

Besides that.... great WL !!!

700 calories at your stage should be just fine.  I was eating somewhere in the 700-800 calorie range at your time period.  Just keep things tight and you will be at goal in no time.

Hi, congrats on your weight loss! I was in the same position as you, feeling dizzy not feeling like I was eating enough and upped my calories from 700-800 a day and 40 carbs a day and that helped. Of course I had increased my workout also. I still lost at the same pace and just made it to goal in 6 mos. 1 week. You have to adjust your calories and carbs for you and what makes you feel healthy. Everyone is different and will have their own way of making it to goal. I feel great and will now adjust my eating again as I go into maintenance. I wish you much success on your weight loss, your almost there!
