6 month Update
Well today is my 6 month anniversary for what I consider a second chance. Lot's of things have happened in 6 months. I missed my goal by 2 pounds but I can't complain about losing 118 pounds in that time. I have run my 1st 5K and have 2 more planned in the next 2 months. I will start training for a 10K after the 1st of the year. I have lost 12 inches off my waist and I am off all medications. I feel better than I have in probably 20 yrs and I am only 20 pounds away from my high school weight. I want to thank everyone for their support and encouraging words and accountability, without great friends this would not be possible. Here's to the next 6 months.
Wow. Congratulations on a job well done! You are doing great. I'm so pleased that you are so healthy and happy. Gotta love that sleeve!

Drman, you are cooking with gas- so very well done. Isn't the "off meds" thing just the best?!!! Keep doing what you're doing, and the next 6 months will be every bit as eventful as the first.
