Swollen tummy
It all depends on the person. Swelling (if you mean incision swelling) usually goes down in a week or two at most. As for your sleeve, babying it is the key to quick healing. That's why our surgeons put us on phased diets. I felt "healed" (meaning that I wasn't scared to eat dense protein for fear of pain) at about 7 weeks. Before that, I felt great, but one bite of something that was too dense (and I'm not talking about straying from my surgeon's plan), and I would have spasms and pain... It's an individual journey, unfortunately. There's really no magic number of days. It's a matter of listening to your body and not pushing it too far, too fast.
