I have been think of trying the "make it yourself" protein puddings and I just found a premade version at my local GNC. So I bought a box and I was totally not impressed. I don't think that the additional 3 grams of protein you get over regular greek yogurt is worth it considering I think the greek yogurt is really good. Is that a preop point of view? Also, do you get better results with the make it yourself pudding or taking a sugar free pudding mix and dumping it with a scoop of unflavored proten powder?

I never tried making protein pudding myself, but I did take the packaged fat free sugar-free pudding mix, and add a couple scoops of protein powder.  It would give me 11 grams of protein per serving.  I seem to recall that there was a cheesecake pudding mix that was particularly nice.

best of luck,

Carol

I put a 1/2 scoop of chocolate protein in with my Vanilla Greek yogurt and sometimes 1/2 banana and sometimes whipped cream (a tsp.)  It's like a desert even w/o the banana and whipped cream.

Try mixing SF pudding mix with ricotta cheese instead.  It has 28g in a single cup.

If you try to do your own, the best way is to put the protein powder and the milk in a blender together before mixing in the pudding mix. It won't set if you add the extra powder with the pudding for some reason.
