Regular food
Nurse Bonnie.....My meals are a shake in the morning (I'm gagging on the shakes now) if I can't drink one I start with a hard boiled egg and a Yoplait greek yogurt (they have less carbs and calories), for lunch I eat tuna or chicken and dinner I have shrimp or fish, then a yogurt for a snack. If I am low I will drink a glass of milk. I have never been a huge protein eater. Always carbs...pasta, bread. So this is difficult for me. It does get easier. i thought I was going to starve to death. It is a MENTAL thing. Good luck. Oh and I try to eat around 3 oz with each protein.
For quite a while, I didn't. I was only to get in 2 ounces of protein to start with, so I'd do 2oz three times a day and a shake. Then I could get to 3 ounces. Now I can do 4, so I have 3 oz of protein and 1 of veg. But, for a while, I was lucky if I could eat a single bite of veggies.

I'm 8 days out and allowed to have a 1/2 cup yogurt as a snack
i ate one very slowly over 45 min and realized it was 5 ounces I'm having no issues at all I can just hear it moving around in there
but all I have had all day is liquid so I'm sure it just settling
should I be able to eat that much already it was only an ounce over
