Today I realized that if I keep wearing my wedding rings I am going to loose one or both of them. I had a resizer placed on the engagement ring years ago and even with it they are way too loose to safely wear. So today I went to Walmart and bought a cheap costume band. My husband wasn't happy that I bought something so cheap and thought we should get something nicer, lol! I said I do not want new rings, I want MY rings....this will be just fine until my weight settles and I can get them resized to fit.

Congratulations! !! Listen I work in the jewelery industry and for only $8.00 you can have a ring guard put on them that's very secure and this way you can still were them ... I have them on all my jewelry!!!! Good luck !!!:-)

Thanks for that info. My rings are getting loose too and I was thinking I would have to stop wearing them until I got to my goal and then have them resized. I'll look into a ring guard so I can still wear them.

I had my college ring resized about 5 years ago so I could wear it again. Now I have had to quit wearing it because it falls off. Tape worked for about 6 weeks and now that does not help much. I dont think they make a ring guard for such a large ring.

I am at the weight I was when I got married so my wedding band is starting to get loose. It will have to be resized eventually.
