Omeprazole. I can't swallow the little beads

I am suppose to take Omeprozole once a day. The tiny little beads make me sick when I swallow them and give me terrible pain. HELP!!!

Ask for a liquid formulation? I did liquid prilosec or I just swallowed the teeny nexium pills.

I did n ot know that they made liquid Nexium. Thanks. I will call the Dr. tomorrow. Maybe I can just take Pepcid

Are you supposed to open the capsules up? I take it twice a day and I just swallow the capsule.

I can't swallow the little beads from inside thd capsule. It makes me sick. I just was sleeved on Oct 16

I take Opemprozole and mine is a tablet. I buy OTC from Costco. Not beads at all. Looks just like a tylenol tablet.

I take Omeprazole 40mg and it is only $10 on my insurance for 30 pills

I swallowed the capsules whole from the time I got home. The Dr said that the omeprazole was small enough that I did not need to open them.

Yes, I take the capsule unopened too. I wasn't told to open them so I have been swallowing them whole. I imagine it would be hard to swallow all the little beads inside the capsule.

Can you just swallow the capsule? I don't think omeprozole is supposed to be opened, anyway. Check with your pharmacist.
