First NSV
Hi All,
I am almost 3 weeks post op, and today I was thrilled and excited (and thrilled) to check my blood sugar this morning and find that it was normal (95). Not normal for a diabetic, not good because we don't want a low sugar reaction, but NORMAL. I haven't taken a thing for Diabetes since surgery and it was hovering around 130 and then until later this week when it started dropping and today it was NORMAL. Hopefully, it will stay down, those of you diabetics know that one day doesn't equal a trend, but I am sure it will drop back down here again.
Getting off the meds and having normal sugar was the major motivating factor for surgery, and I am really happy right now.
Congratulations! Very happy for you-that is a fantastic 1st NSV!

Super fantastic! Even if it's not a trend, it's a good data point, right :D
