Galaxy s5 s health app- stress meter question

I just got a S5 and saw the S health app, and then the stress meter. Mine is red. I am not surprised. But I am curious if others out there find that it seems like it is a fairly decent measure, or if it is just a spoof. And is there anyway to log exercise as elliptical, instead of the preset running, hiking, walking thing?  Thanks in advance-

I am guessing the stress meter is tied to heart rate.  I just checked mine and the stress was very low and my heart rate was 59.  Try sitting quietly for a few minutes and try it.

I don't use S Health to track my workouts.  I use Endomondo and Activtrax.

My husband is an Android developer, and he's said the measurements aren't very reliable and the app has to extrapolate a fair bit.
