5 weeks POST OP TODAY
Hi Everyone! I am 5 weeks post op today. Feeling so much better today than a few weeks ago. I went to my WLS support group last week and we had a full house - talking to others about my journey and my struggles definitely helps me to realize I'm not on a lone island by myself. Hearing everyone else's journey reminds me that we all have our hurdles, and also that we can all get through this together! Okay, so I finally got around to taking my measurements (I've been looking for my tape - my 15 y/o son had it stashed in his room - he's been measuring his biceps! lol) I think taking my measurements should help my motivation - I know my clothes fit better and when I don't think the scale is moving I find myself doubting whether this 'is working'... All of which is in my mind I know and I'm learning to stay away from the scale and limit myself to once per week!
I am posting new pictures today in my profile for todays pics - as of today, I have lost around 30 lbs! (7lbs was post op - but I am happy with where I am at!)...
Hope everyone has a fabulous week!
Glad you're doing so well! Keep up the hard work.
