Quick question..........................
At that stage I was 2-3 oz by weight, depending on the type of protein. You have to eat slowly so as to not over eat. Being over full is miserable which can lead to the foamies and a possible trip to the porcelain throne to pray to Ralph.

about 3 oz? are you still measuring out your food? at 3.5 weeks your stoma*****ision is still probably numb and you aren't going to be able to tell when you are full, which is why measuring food is really important. Shouldn't be eating until you are full.. just measure out the amount you are supposed to be eating. :)
Alright, I am jealous and I am not afraid to admit it. I had surgery on 11/25 so I too am 3.5 weeks out and I can only eat 1 - 2 oz of food at any given meal. I mean literally 2 small bites and I am way full. I am not even interested in food right now because it tastes really good and it looks really good but 3 baby spoon fulls and I am full just doesn't seem worth it sometimes. Thanks for listening to me whine a bit, yes I would like some cheese with this whine but sadly, it can't be more than 2 oz please!
Please - DO NOT eat until you feel tightness or start to hiccup. That is a sign that you've gone too far! At this stage of the game you should be limiting your amount to 1-2 ounces at the most and then stopping.
The nerves in your stomach haven't regenerated yet so you can do some damage by overeating. In my opinion, you are overeating so early out :-(
Depends. If you are on soft foods, than it is a common experience to be able to eat that much. Also, since your nerve is sliced up you cannot rely on it to tell you that fullness is achieved- so that is why you need to measure and not go by how you feel. I have a larger sleeve and could do that no problem, and was concerned about restriction. Once I hit dense protein it was very evident that I had excellent restriction, so hand in there.

I actually DO feel the restriction. My NUT told me it'll feel like a tightness just at the bottom, and between my breasts. That's exactly what I feel. Then I'll hiccup or burp. And I DO measure my food. Right now I'm measuring out three ounces. I've been able to fini**** all the last couple days. I'm on soft foods. My NUT doesn't require pureed. I went from liquid, to soft.
