Surgery tomorrow -- any last-minute bits of wisdom?

My bag is packed. My phone and Kindle are charged. My last day of pre-op full liquids. Some anxiety, but under control. Anything you all can tell me that I should know before the big day?

Just relax and go with the flow, let your team take care of you and get out of bed the minute they let you!! I was up within 15 minutes of being brought to my regular room from recovery. I think I actually scared the nurse when I "jumped up" out of bed. I was so damn sweaty I just wanted to get out of bed and pee and walk. If you are a dude ask them for a hat so you can sit down and pee. Having an IV and trying to lift a gown, hold a bottle, and pee at the same time is too many things to do at once!

Oh and walk walk walk!

I'm not a guy, sechax0r, but I can imagine your bathroom dilemma. Thanks for your advice.

Thanks, everyone else, for your advice and good wishes. I'm not taking my chrome book to the hospital, but will check back with everyone as soon as I get back home.

Read this forum so you will be prepared for gas, constipation and exercise .  So much information.  My surgery was outpatient and other than some pain day 2&3 it was amazing.

Good of luck to you.
