Hello from Newfound Lake in NH. It looks like it will be a nice day here so I think we will stay thru dinner, then drive home. We could stay until morning, but I want to have some semblance of a normal routine tomorrow.

QOTD: You can have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life, what is it? Sushi? Scotch Tape? What would it be and why? For me it would probably be cottage cheese if a food item since I love the stuff and could live on it. If non-food, probably ziplock bags, since I use them for everything including food storage, keys, travel bags, dog poop, you name it. I wish I was the one who invented them (and got a patent)!

2 Years, 4.5 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 20.5 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Leftover crab cake and maybe a taste of eggplant Parmesan

S: Ostrim meat stick or cottage cheese

good morning. It is a perfect day - dry, nice temp, cool breeze! finally. It must be beautiful at the lake! We are heading off to central mass to go camping. I'm so excited for this weather.

QOTD: I think i would want an unlimited supply of tea. I love a cup of tea - PG Tips! For non-food, maybe "yoga pants" - although I think they are the downfall of overweight women - you can wear them and not realize you have gained any weight. However, the second I get home, off come the work clothes and I put on comfy pants and a t-shirt. Sadly, Liz - whoever invented ziplock bags probably isn't any richer than before. If you work for a company, you have to assign all your rights to the company. Where I work, inventors get $250 for an idea, $1k when a patent application is submitted and $1K when the patent grants. That's it - oh and they do get a paycheck every week, lol. The cost of applying for a patent on your own is alot of money. I'd say it probably costs 20-40K for the application process. I love Shark Tank but get annoyed when they say I have a patent pending - that means they have a filing date, but if their patent does not grant, then they really have nothing. Well, I could go on and on - so i won't. Enjoy the day all.

B: italian bread toasted with yarlsburg cheese

L: leftover chinese before we go -then all food goes to the trash (Lucky for us tomorrow is trash day)

D: probably something easy on "set up" day - thinking a hot dog

E: will get lots off steps getting packed up/unpacked, etc.

L/V: good so far

Good morning!

Well, the knee that was messed up last week is doing great, and it's moved back into the other knee. I'm so tired of this; it's just wearing me down. I'm making an appointment tomorrow with an orthopedic knee specialist - two friends see him and swear he's the best. Lord, I hope he can fix this - if this is my reality for the rest of my life I just don't know what I'll do.

I'm meeting a sleeve sister (same surgical team) today to give her a bunch of samples of vitamins and protein. I way overbought pre-surgery and will never use everything I've got...I want her to be able to avoid that! I think I'll give her a couple pieces of cloud bread too...I used "Everything But the Bagel" seasoning and they're pretty good! I also used 8 eggs more than I should have...the yolks kept breaking into the whites! Good thing my hens are active; I just gave 2 dozen to my daughter so we don't have the abundance we had last weekend.

QOTD: You can have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life, what is it? Sushi? Scotch Tape? What would it be and why? MONEY!

Food wise, it would probably be giant wild-caught prawns. The really sweet ones that don't need any kind of seasoning to taste really amazing. Or langostino. But only if they were the really good ones. Non-food, it would probably be new clothes. That's what I can come up with off the top of my head.

B: Premier Protein in coffee

S: Egg bite, turkey sausage link

L: Premier Protein with ice and espresso

S: Halibut, some kind of veggie

D: Ham and cheese sandwich on cloud bread

S: ? (only if needed)

(edit to add about the cloud bread)

I sure hope the orthopedist can help you. It does sound very tiring.

No! How frustrating. My dad is going through bad knee issues now and it's so awful how debilitating it can be. He's about to look into a stem cell therapy for it.

Doing two posts since this one for my meals at work is so late. Am at work in a 1:1 and it's just calmed down. Woman is very confused and unsteady. I do not have enough calories planned at all. After work I can't go straight home, I am taking a friend of mine who is a bit of a shut in out to get her groceries and spend some time with her. Am going to be tired.

QOTD: Inwont day the obvious like money! I think if I could get an unlimited supply of something it would be gas for my car whenever I needed to fill up!

Breakfast- Gouda cheese sausage with half a yogurt, it didn't taste great to me. Think the flavor of strawberry chees cake isn't as good in plain yogurt.

Lunch- cookies and cream protein shake

dinner- vegetable stew

totals- 682cal, 28 carbs, 55g protein

LOL! I should have said money but it seemed like wishing for a genie who could grant unlimited wishes!
