Morning all. Waiting for my shift to end and it's just dragging out forever. I am freezing and feel like hot garbage. Don't know what's going on but my stomach is just killing me. I hope I'm not catching a bug. There's been a little something a couple nurses have come in with.

QOTD: What's something you spend too much money on needlessly?

Energy drinks. I have been buying sugar free, no calorie Monsters and I love them since they work, but jeeze Louise are they expensive.

Breakfast- Greek yogurt with amazing grass, 2 eggs

Lunch- premier protein bar

Dinner- chicken taco I will make again

Snacks- pork rinds, pumpkin spice coffee creamer

Hi All!

Hope all of you have had a great weekend at work or play I hope it was stress-free!

QOTD: What's something you spend too much money on needlessly? Hmm, hard one to answer I tend to be frugal. Um Ok The Woman's World weekly magazine which I primarily buy for the crossword puzzles! (Yep, I have crossword books even but I enjoy these more)

I have finally stopped my Starbuck's habit: buying a skinny vanilla latte M-F before work. They are way overpriced, so I have started making coffee at home again the past 2 months. It sure saves $! Now I'm buying cute clothes because I'm no longer limited to the plus-size retailers. Granted, I always buy online clearance or sale items and look for additional coupons for free shipping, but this weekend was the last time until Christmas. Time to donate a couple more bags of larger sizes!

B: low-fat cottage cheese with 8 blackberries and 10 raw almonds

S1: Sargento Balanced Breaks

L: Premiere Protein Shake

D: chicken fajita meat and salad greens with salsa dressing

S2: Oikos Triple Zero Greek yogurt

Mersh, hope you are feeling better and whatever it is, it is short-lived!

We are still in the rain and wind binds from Hurricane Florence, but so grateful we are 3 hours from the beach. Poor Kinston, Wilmington and Oak Island...poor Fayetteville.

QOTD: What's something you spend too much money on needlessly? My name is Annie, and I am a moisturizer/oil/face cream junky. (That said, I have fabulous skin for 66...) But vanity does not come cheap, and being a "natural beauty" takes longer (and more products) every year).

Breakfast: bacon & 1/2 piece dense wheat sprout french toast

Lunch - fat free refried beans, fat free cheese and homemade guacamoles

Dinner - Shredded chicken with tomato sauce, yogurt

Snack - air popped popcorn

Oh, Annie, you crack me up. Of course you're a natural beauty, no moisturizers required! I like a good moisturizer too though. It's not super expensive, or top of the line, but I really like Burt's Bees day cream and night cream.

Thanks!

They're fine for the purpose they serve. I'm not a fan of gummy things in general, but I use the Black Cherry ones and they're acceptable. For long runs I eat two cubes every 3 miles or so, and they seem to work for me!
