My first potluck in our new neighborhood...any ideas?

Sorry, I am a run into Freddy's deli and grab a rotisserie chicken or potato salad kind of person.  My neighbor makes a potato salad with egg that is to die for and lately when I have to bring something to a potluck I ask her to make me some.

Tazz,
I am known for my potato salad too!  Just can't bring myself to make it - too tempting for me right now.  I love it so much I would eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner.  I was a BAD girl.

I had a couple of potlucks last year around Christmas.  I made a SF pumpkin cheesecake for one and a chocolate trifle for the other.  Both were big hits.  The chocolate trifle was layers of SF chocolate cake (you can buy the mix), SF chocolate pudding and cheesecake pudding and a can of SF cherry pie filling and cool whip.

I also do a squash casserole that is grated summer squash, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese and eggs, so all stuff you could eat.

I always try to bring something I know I can eat.

Price, this sounds delicious.  I didn't know you could buy a SF chocolate cake mix.  I must be hungry because everything you listed sounds so yummy.  Thank you for posting.

I'm not a cook, so I usually bring a fruit salad.
