3 months out with pictures
Hello everyone! I posted this in the sleeve post also but wanted to share with my fellow lightweights.
The last 3 months have flown by! It took me about 5 1/2 weeks to get my energy back but once I did I started exercising with a vengeance. I have a 5K coming up on 1-26 and I am so excited about it. My highest weight was 278; surgery was 249; today 200.8. I have lost 45.25 inches. I can no longer wear my wedding ring which is weird because I was a 7.5 even at 160 pounds. Now I am a 6.5. I started in a 22/24 pants and a 2X shirt and now I am in a 16 pant and a L/XL shirt. I have 26 pounds to my first goal of 175 but I may change it to 164 since that gives me a healthy BMI. I actually have hope that I can get that low for once in my life! I am 5 foot 8. After boot camp in 2002 I weighed 167 and looked amazing! Here's hoping. Thanks for all the support and I am on the boards daily.
The first picture is the night before surgery at 249 on 10-2-12 and the second is last night 1-2-13 (which was my 8th wedding anniversary too!) I don't know why the pictures are so big, lol.
You are doing fantastic.
As to goals, keep them but honestly don't focus on a final number...let your body go as low as possible in your honeymoon phase...cause maintenance is a WITCH!

Awesome. You are very similiar to me in size and shape. My surgery is on the 16th of this month. Are you noticing much with excess skin yet?
Keep up the good work.
Isn't it amazing how quickly we change. And as you get smaller, the sizes change even faster. You look great.

It's just amazing how weight loss can change the face. You are already pretty but to see the definition is really cool! What a good job.
You're looking great! As Roz said - don't focus on a goal # - mine was 150 and I ended up at 123 - let your body decide where it wants to go. You'll get all kinds of comments about getting too "skinny" - but just blow them off and keep working your tool!!
