Hi. What stores have people here been most pleased with shopping at? What stores are good places to learn how to shop for the first time?

OMG I BOUGHT AN EX LARGE AT OLD NAVY TANK TOPS...THEY FIT AND LOOK CUTE...I AM SOOOO HAPPY...

I bought a Unviersity of Washington Huskys tshirt in a large, way different then the 4 XL what a great feeling to put it on

I just went shopping yesterday and bought a regular size XL from the misses department of a Department Store

I bought my first pair of jeans in years. The last time I was going to buy them it would have been a size 32. This time it was a size 24, I have had them 4-5 weeks and have to get rid of them now!

I was able to buy clothes at Kohl's and Sears! Able to buy some 90% off clearance clothes too! Amazing how much cheaper clothes are when they are smaller sizes! Bought a pair of 22 petite dress pants at Sears! Haven't seen those numbers in 10 years! Went from a 30/32 to a 22/24. Woo hoo!!!

I was able to buy a pair of pants that were a size 14 instead of the size 24 I used to buy!!!!! It felt GREAT.....

For the first time, I went shopping with my sister who's a size 8 and we were shopping in the same stores!! I bought pants & skirts in a size 12 and a size Large & Medium in shirts on Sunday (04/20/08) !! Just 7 1/2 months ago I was shopping for a size 24. I felt so amazing and proud of all of my hard work, my commitment and achieving this goal! :-)

I fit in the bras at Victoria's Secret! I never thought that would happen. Shirts at Old Navy, The Gap, now their pants to since I've reached size 16. No retail store is safe now!

I thought it would never happen too. I wear a size 16Tall in regular jeans I can buy at Steven and Barry's! Plus I wear a 36C @ Victoria's Secret now!

I could EASILY become a shopoholic!!! Shopping is so much fun now! :D

I reached the 100 pound mark last month.RYN 2/28/08 & I have 15 more pounds to go. I weighed before surgery 231 pounds my goal weight is 115.

I never experience this wonderful feeling before being able to shop in off the regular rack for way less.I'm so happy.Thank God. Health problems gone

I can give people my clothes. I try to limit my shopping; I am still losing.I tried on a size 8 10 knit pants, and medium shirt. I gave it to my mom.

My sis made me try on some XL/18 capris in the "normal" section of big K weekend before last-- and they fit! One pair is already getting a bit loose.

I can't wait to get to where some of you are. My surgery is May 19th and I hope to be shopping for XL's rather than 2-3X soon.

I bought a size 16 jean skirt the other day and a size large dress! I also fit into some MEDIUM underwear from old navy! It's the best feeling ever!

I bought a size 16 swimsuit to go to the Y... I stood in the mirror, laughed at myself.. I look like my body is sitting on top of 2 redwood trees.LOL

I purchased a (large) in lerner of new york and I am use to lane bryant size(26). It feels great to be back.

Old Navy made me pleased as punch.

I shopped last month in Ross for the first time ever. I went fom a size 36 top and bottom to a 22/24 top & 28 bottoms. I had a great time shopping.

I am so excited to be able to go into regular stores and shop. I can hardly wait!!! New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago--watch out!

I just bought several sweaters at Shopko in a size Large in the Women's department and I can now wear a size 16 in jeans.

Wearing from a 12-16 depending on brand...so I am gonna say I have accomplished this goal I remember the day when I would have KILLED for size 16 lol

I've gone from a 30/32 to a 6. Now that I can shop anywhere, I'm not that into shopping. I do love Charlotte Russe and Body Shop though.

I am able to buy clothes at Sams club some size L and some XL. I have never had anything fit me there. Been shopping in the misses depts. YEAH!

I am having a really hard time grasping that I am a size 16 pants and XL top and can shop outside the boundary of Plus Size.

I was shopping with a friend in the plus size area like usual and decided to try a 1XL instead of my usual 2 or 3 XL. It was too big and I went to the regular section for an XL! It was so fun!

I was shopping with my daughter when she was home for Christmas at Sam's Club. I saw a really cute sweater and immediately went for the 2X. It was way too big so we started looking for a 1X..no luck. Last resort was a Large. I put it on and to my amazement...IT FIT!!! While looking in the mirror, my daughter told me "You can smile Mama, it's ok".BEST AHA MOMENT EVER!!! NO MORE X'S!!!!

Shopping in the regular section of the store is totally overwhelming! There is TOO MUCH CHOICE. I'm a little freaked out ... but still super excited!
