Day 12 - Surgeon Post-Op...

Well, today is a HUGE day...since surgery I've lost 15 pounds!!! 248 to be exact! I haven't been this weight for a very long time.

I feel great. Little pain...nothing that a 1/2 dose of Lortab doesn't cure. I'm very lucky...everything is still uneventful.

I met with my surgeon, Dr. Kevin Krause from William Beaumont and he was extremely pleased with my healing and results. In fact, he said I'm healing so well that I can get back into the pool and exercising. I think I'll wait until next week though to begin really exercising...I feel like if I was to start this week it would be rushing it. I am not going to push my luck!

Getting in at least 60 grams of protein and drinking about 6 glasses of water a day. He was good with that. I feel good...I'm one lucky SOB!
