End of Feb wrap

Feb 23, 2010

So, over the past month, Ive been:
 - Drinking a lot more liquids (water/ crystal light) every day. Trying to get in at least 60oz.
 - Making a conscious effort to take my vits every day (which helps w/ the water consumption)
 - Exercising 2-3 times per week for at least 30 minutes (some weeks im able to do 4 times a week for more than 30 mins.
 - Tracking my daily intake on thedailyplate.com
 - Participating in the daily accountability posts on the grads forum

There was a week where I didnt take my vits b/c my system felt as if I had over done it on the vits. So i had to back off of them for a bit. But in about 2 weeks, i started to feel really tired again & quickly identified that it was time to start taking my vits again.

There was also a week where i didnt work out (for one reason on top of another). I was quick to recognize the excuses i made & changed that behavior the following week.
Every day is a new day & a new opportunity to do what i need to do.
I know I like to eat - well, in order to eat what i want, i need to exercise more. Its that simple.

With my vits, i have more energy & im able to go work out.
Throughout the day & when working out, I find myself drinking more liquids, which makes me feel full!
Tracking my intake keeps me aware & im able to plan meals accordingly. It also gives me the mental boost I need & helps to keep me on track making the right food choices. Im also able to see my totals, which helps me gage where I am at on a particular day & plan accordingly.
Participating in the daily accountability posts keeps me honest & enables ME to keep ME accountable. Additionally, this tools is great for giving & receiving encouragement.

So far, Ive lost approximately 8lbs.
I am confident that all of these combined have contributed to my weight loss.
