Stanford

"Stanford is the best in our area. Bar none!"

Natalie Chang

"Dr. Natalie Chang is ok. Easy to work with & talk to (even though sometimes I feel like I'm rushed during appointments) and is somewhat attentive (I've busted her a couple of times looking at the time while we were talking – like to hurry me along). She needs to work on her people skills. She doesn’t seem.... I cant quite put my finger on it, but it seems like she's not really concerned with my personal plight for loosing weight & she’s not very supportive."

"I loved Dr. Torress!! She was the best. Unfortunately, she ended up leaving the medical group that I belong to :(
So, now I have Dr. Natalie Chang & she’s pretty good. Easy to work & talk to (even though sometimes I feel like I'm rushed during appointments) & is somewhat attentive (I've busted her a couple of times looking at the time while we were talking – like to hurry me along). She needs to work on her people skills. She doesn’t seem.... "After about 2 weeks pasted with me leaving voicemails here & there; I was FINALLY able to get in touch with her and schedule the appointment!! Unfortunately, the appointment is now a MONTH from the time when I started calling in - but what can you do I suppose.
She seems very nice enough, but her schedule is not very accommodating. She schedules her own appointments & doesn’t see patients after [working] hours (9-5) or on weekends. So if you want to get in to see her, its going to have to be during the working day.
So all in all, thus far:
she's not easy to contact with in the first place
not very sensitive to time restrictions for the working person"

Myriam Curet

"10/8/03 Just got off the phone w/ the patient coordinator & she informed me they might be able to get me in SOONER then 12/17/03 (if I can get all of my pre-op tests completed sooner). WOOHOOO!!
9/25/03 One thing that I felt was rather disturbing is that it felt like the patient coordinator from the surgeons office and the PCPs asst. were giving me the run around on if the operation was going to be covered by my insurence or not & at what % ?!? I really had to pin the 2 of them down to get a straight answer, but i finally did get the YES ITS COVERED answer i was looking for. :)
9/16/03 I havent seen Dr. Curet or Dr. Baptista. My appointment w/ Dr. Baptista is scheduled for Dec. 03. I am still in the beginning stages of the journey. But i tell you, it is really reassuring to see that so many people have used her as their surgeon. Feels like, even here in the Bay Area, I am not alone!"

Kristine Birge

"Scheduled for 10/15(FINALLY!!).
I havent see Dr. Birge yet, but I am really looking forward to it. "
